This is "The Cottage on Maple Hill"—a soft-spoken story for quiet minds and sensitive hearts.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

What’s been keeping me company lately—books, shows, sounds, and small joys.

I forgot how good Roseanne was! I’ve been binge watching it before bed the past few weeks. So many cameos I forgot about too. George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio!

An accidental ASMR discovery on YouTube. I love watching how things are put together—and there’s something so satisfying about taking something broken and making it work again. I prefer videos with minimal or no talking, and this channel is basically my dream come true. It’s called Odd Tinkering, if you’re curious.

I’d recommend this to anyone. Even if you’re not working through anything in particular, the case studies and insights in this book are so valuable. I learned so much about the mind and body—a good reminder to be sweet to ourselves, and to each other.

A friend told me about Alison Friend’s artwork, and now I’m determined to save my pennies for a print. Her quirky animals make me smile—they remind me so much of my own cats.

I’d been in a bit of a phase where I wasn’t listening to much music. But this past week, I’ve had Florence + The Machine on repeat. Especially “Heavy In Your Arms.” If I could have anyone’s voice, it would be hers.

I received a piano for Christmas, and I’ve been slowly trying to teach myself how to play. I tend to get a little intimidated by new hobbies—and frustrated when I don’t pick things up right away—but I’m trying to be gentle with myself. I managed to learn a bit of “The Heart Will Go On” from Titanic. Small victories are good!
